SportyAI is getting smarter


BREAKING: SportyAI can now be reached directly at www.sporty.co.nz/ai (use your Sporty login). It continues to learn about all the new features being released to the Sporty platform every fortnight, making it easy for sports organisations to get the answers you're seeking.

What is SportyAI?

SportyAI was developed on ChatGPT to provide answers to questions from administrators of organisations using the Sporty platform. SportyAI understands all the content of the online support articles in the Sporty Knowledge Centre.

How is SportyAI more helpful than a chatbot or simply searching the Online Support?

SportyAI lets you ask questions in everyday language and it will reply intelligently. It doesn't just repeat support articles verbatim like old-school chatbots. It intelligently interprets content across many support articles to provide you with more insightful and useful answers.

Importantly, SportyAI understands and remembers the whole thread of your conversation. For example, if you ask a question such as, "Does Sporty support online payments?" and it answers "Yes, Sporty lets you accept payment by credit card, direct debit and POLi", you could then ask a blunt follow up question such as, "What are the fees?".  SportyAI will reply within the context of your conversation, so will explain the fees relating to online payments in this example.

Does SportyAI cost extra?

No. Unless the cost of ChatGPT becomes prohibitive, Sporty is absorbing the cost of developing and providing SportyAI for administrators using the Sporty platform.

How is AI expected to evolve with Sporty in the future?

Sporty is currently developing a ChatAI Widget for our client websites. This behaves in a similar way to SportyAI but will limit its responses to the content of each client's website. ChatAI will understand all the publicly visible content of each of the thousands of individual websites built on the Sporty platform. Website owners can decide if you wish to enable ChatAI for your site. If so, visitors to your site will be able to use it to help them more easily find the information they want.

Can these AI tools make mistakes?

Mistakes are rare. Almost all answers they provide include links to the source of the information, so you can validate anything if you're unsure.
